KENINGAU: A good Master of the Ceremony (MC) or emcee must have charisma to make a ceremony pleasant and enjoyable.

Keningau District Education Officer, Johari @ Jaibet bin Sabin said, therefore, a successful emcee needs to have extensive knowledge about the intricacies of his role and duties.

“From the opening until the end of the event, he or she is responsible for controlling and leading the course of the ceremony,” he said, when officiating the Program Perkampungan Bahasa Bitara: Bengkel Pengacaraan Sekolah Menengah Peringkat Daerah Keningau Tahun 2023, recently.

According to him, there are many activities chosen to be implemented in the programme, whether in the form of a workshop, lecture, seminar or forum.
