Top cop Razarudin Husain says police are investigating the role of four more suspects in the case of an Israeli man caught with six guns and 200 bullets last month.
PETALING JAYA: Four more people have been arrested in connection with the Israeli man caught with six guns and 200 bullets last month.
Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain said the four suspects, two men and two women, were arrested in Johor yesterday to facilitate the investigation.
ADVERTISEMENT “The suspects aged between 28 and 41 were arrested in Skudai and Gelang Patah in Johor,” he told Utusan Malaysia.
He added that the police were investigating their roles in the case.
Police previously arrested a married couple from Kuala Selangor for allegedly supplying firearms to the main suspect, and a Malaysian in Cameron Highlands for allegedly being the driver for the Israeli since his arrival on March 12.
According to police, the suspect flew to Malaysia from the United Arab Emirates to murder another Israeli over a family dispute.

The 36-year-old entered the country through KLIA on March 12, using a French passport.
He claimed to have purchased the guns in Malaysia, through transactions made in cryptocurrency.

According to The Times of Israel, the Israeli man, identified in the report as Shalom Avitan, was associated with a criminal group known as the Musli Brothers.
The report said both groups had been involved in violent feuds for months.
