KENINGAU: The Sabah Sustainable Oil Palm Planters’ Cooperative Consortium Berhad suggested that the State Government hire illegal immigrants and stateless people (illegal immigrant children born in Sabah) to address the worsening labour force in the State.
Its Chairman, Datuk Justin Guka, proposed an Illegal Immigrant Card, which would let them (illegals and stateless people) work as farm and construction labourers.

This is the third such proposal in support of State Minister of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe.
Sabah Dairy Farmers Association Chairman Datuk Yap Yun Fook also said hiring illegal immigrants and stateless people in Sabah can solve the as foreign labour shortage in agriculture sector.
