Kota Kinabalu: Pertubuhan Muafakat Titipan Amal Isteri Wakil Rakyat Sabah (Mutiara) Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) celebrated the Chinese New Year with more than 50 children at its home in Rose Garden, Kota Kinabalu, Thursday.
The Chief Minister’s wife Datin Seri Juliah Salag, who is also President of the Mutiara GRS and its members, treated the children with a feast and a Lion Dance performance and gave them “Angpow” and “goodie bags”.

A Yee Sang tossing ceremony was also held and made merrier with the appearance of a Dragon mascot.
Also present were Mutiara GRS Vice-Presidents Datin Seri Cecilia Kitingan and Datin Dg Siti Noor Hayyat Ag Mohd Saufi (Honorary Secretary), Executive Chairwoman Datin Seri Stella Yong, Cultural Bureau Chairman Datin Siti Noor Liyana Abd Latiff Bledram and Organising Deputy Chairwoman Datin Tracy Jee Huat @ Mui.
