SANDAKAN: Friends of Sea Turtles Education & Research (Foster) will organise its Third Edition of the Sepilok Jazz Programme on Sept 6-7, 2024.
President, Alexander Yee, said this edition would be special with the introduction of the first jazz academy in Sandakan.

The programme aims to present quality jazz entertainment and provide opportunities for talented Sandakan youth in jazz music.
“We hope this programme can unearth the talents of young individuals in Sandakan and give them the chance to develop their potential in jazz music,” he said.
The programme also aims to raise awareness about the importance of love and conservation of sea turtle life.
“We want to ensure that the conservation and sustainability message continues to be conveyed to the community,” he said.

“We are pleased to again receive full support from Sabah Tourism Board for this programme after out meeting with STB Chief Executive Julinus Jeffrey Jimit last Friday,” Alexander said.
