150 participate at Kinabatangan Dart tourney

Some 150 darters from 53 teams participated in the Kinabatangan Dart Tournament organised by the Kinabatangan Happy Darters Club in Bukit Garam recently.
KINABATANGAN: Some 150 darters from 53 teams recently participated in the Kinabatangan Dart Tournament organised by the Kinabatangan Happy Darters Club in Bukit Garam, here.
Club chairman Tommy Lai said the darters came from here and nearby districts.

“The competition aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle aside from forging closer ties among the dart communities,” he said.
The men’s doubles category was won by KDS O/B from Lahad Datu, followed by HDK L/C (Kinabatangan) in second place, while in third and fourth place was Easthorn Legend (Lahad Datu) and Silam El Gwapo (Lahad Datu), respectively.
As for the 5/8 category, it was won by MPS A from Sandakan, Bagiuk (Sandakan), Silam LosLos Deboss (Lahad Datu) and AJ Damak (Sandakan).
For the most 180 hits, it was won by Jafrin from MPS B (X2-Sandakan), while the most 171 hits was won by GG (HDK Elektrik – Sandakan). The most check bull was grabbed by Darryl (Silam El Gwapo – Lahad Datu), and Opong (Easthorn Legend – Lahad Datu) won the most check out.

The women’s individual category was won by Jacq HDK (Sandakan), followed by Cayie LD (Lahad Datu), while the winners for the 3/4 category were LD Lovely (Lahad Datu) and Sue LD (Lahad Datu).
