Huge ad canvas blown away by strong wind, falls on road in Penampang

PENAMPANG: A big advertisement canvas was blown away by strong winds and heavy rain here on Thursday, closing a major thoroughfare at the Beverly Hills Apartments commercial area.

Cables also fell onto the road in the 3.15pm incident. The canvas was reportedly placed on the commercial area's footbridge just moments before it was blown away.

Efforts are being done to remove the canvas and the cables as at press time.
