Kota Kinabalu: Persistence, creativity and walking the extra mile in these challenging times has paid off for PropNex Sabah which bagged two awards - the Best Real Estate Agency for the Residential Sector and also REN (Real Estate Negotiator) of the Year – at the Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA) Award ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur at the weekend.
PropNex Sabah Agency Leader, Philomena Chai said these awards by MIEA recognises the luminaries among real estate agents, negotiators and practitioners, adding the awards set new standards for professionalism and indeed PropNex Sabah is known to do their utmost in carrying out their duties and services professionally.
“PropNex Sabah provides the full set of services to the wide-ranging residential sector in Sabah, from the affordable to world class Coral Bay at Sutera Harbour.
“Our agents diligently and innovatively serviced this diverse range of real estate products. They worked hard and smart. Hence, clearly this award is an entire team effort,” she said in a statement Monday.
She said these Awards have been won in the midst of the various restriction orders put in place since March 2020, adding PropNex agents embraced technology and resorted to creative means to sell and lease out properties using digital tools from zoom meetings to videos.
“They are particularly pleased that their innovative efforts and walking the extra mile to serve the residential sector has been recognised.
Stephon Chong, co-Agency Leader, said PropNex Sabah’s team spirit has proven that what is difficult like in the current pandemic times is possible to overcome and in this case “we have been recognised and even won this Residential Real Estate Firm of the Year Award for Sabah.”
The much sought after Sabah REN (Real Estate Negotiator) of the Year Award is a most motivating achievement for PropNexian, Bonnie Hong. This is an award of recognition by industry peers and is presented to a practising registered Real Estate Agent who has proven to be a role model in the profession.
Hong had shown personal leadership, ability to plan and achieve desired results and build teams. In crediting her team which she feels is instrumental in her winning the award, Hong said: “No team, no award! My winning was possible due to the effort of the entire team. Also in reality, at the home front, it was also teamwork and I would like to thank my family too for their support.”
Despite a challenging year, PropNex Sabah is wrapping up the year memorably winning these coveted awards.
