Qatar Emir to meet Dr M Thurs

DOHA: The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani is scheduled to be in Malaysia this week where he will honour the winners of His Highness' International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award during a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur this Friday.Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is also expected to attend the event, which is being held in cooperation with the United Nations, reported Qatar News Agency (QNA).Both Dr Mahathir and Sheikh Tamim will honour the winners of the four awards which will be for Lifetime/Outstanding Achievement, Innovation, Youth Creativity and Engagement and Academic Research and Education.
