PETALING JAYA: The Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) has asked the police to carry out further investigations into Teoh Beng Hock's death nine years ago.Beng Hock's family lawyer Ramkarpal Singh said the AGC made the request to Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun as it believed that such investigations were necessary following the Court of Appeal's findings that other unknown personalities, including MACC officers, were involved in Teoh's death. "I can confirm that the AGC has written to the IGP on July 17, a copy of which was extended to my firm, requesting for further investigations to be commenced into Beng Hock's death. I am of the view that the above is a positive development in the matter and hope that such investigations reveal those responsible for Beng Hock's death, especially since the Court of Appeal has made a finding that there were others involved," Ramkarpal said in a statement.
