PETALING JAYA: A man was found dead yesterday, believed to have been stabbed to death while in the middle of sexual intercourse in Kuala Krai, Kelantan.
Utusan reported that the 45-year-old man was found sprawled in front of a public restroom near Dataran Lemang, Manek Urai.

State police chief Zaki Harun said police received a report after the body was discovered at 6.30pm.
He said an inspection of the body found stab marks on the stomach, but no bloodstains were found at the scene.
“Investigations found that the victim was a suspect in a case of wrongful confinement of a woman under Section 342 of the Penal Code. The suspect also had a previous criminal record including for drugs.
“Police investigations later found that the incident happened on March 28, after the victim took a woman from Sungai Tong Setiu in Terengganu to several locations in Kuala Krai,” he said in a statement.

Zaki said the victim was stabbed three times in the stomach by the woman with a knife during sexual intercourse.
New Straits Times reported that the woman is believed to be the victim’s girlfriend.

“The remains are now at the Sultan Ismail Petra Hospital for an autopsy, and the doctor has confirmed that the cause of death is due to the stab wounds.
“The knife went through the abdomen and hit the colon. The victim failed to get treatment, and his wounds worsened due to bacterial infection,” he said.
Zaki said police had arrested a 28-year-old woman and seized a vegetable knife.
He said the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
