TELUPID: SMK Ulu Sapi recorded an improvement in its SPM Grade Point Score (GPS) in the 2025 examination.

The achievement was highlighted during the school’s Excellence Appreciation Day, held at the hall of SK Ulu Sapi on April 25.

The event recognised student achievements in curriculum, co-curriculum and character development.

Top performers included Nur Ayuni Syahirah Zulkifli, who obtained 7As, and Elvinsia Jamik, who achieved 5As.

The ceremony was officiated by Community Development Leader for DUN N47 Telupid, Marcellus Jaffery. Also present were District Education Officer Albert Andau Paulus Andau and headmistress Railen @ Maria Guang.

In a message delivered on behalf of Datuk Dr Jonnybone J. Kurum, it was stated that he remains committed to supporting education and hopes to attend future school programmes.

Railen expressed appreciation to parents, teachers, and the community for their support, while the District Education Officer noted challenges in core subjects and acknowledged the school’s progress in SPM performance.
