According to the sources, the man in his 40s, who was believed to be the middleman in the RM300,000 bribery case, was detained by MACC about 4pm on Tuesday when he was called up to provide statements at Lahad Datu MACC office.

The suspect, a foreigner, was believed to have committed the offence between 2021 and 2022.
