Esscom Senior Intelligence Officer ASP Nustad bin Kirino shared this perception at an online seminar on “Understanding the security threats to Sabah and Sarawak” on August 16, organised by the Sabah and Sarawak Affairs Division of the Prime Minister’s Department.
According to ASP Nustad, “Jamalul Kiram died on Oct 20, 2013. His brother Esmail Dalus Kiram took over. In his first statement, he reiterated that he would continue to claim Sabah by whatever means possible.
