SIPITANG: The immigration check-in and check-out system in Sabah and Sarawak badly needs to be upgraded digitally to reduce registration time.
Mazlan Talawi, a visitor from Sipitang, noted that the waiting time at the entrance to Sabah is excessively long.

He said there is often a traffic jam of nearly one to two hours when queuing to enter the Sabah-Sarawak border at the immigration posts in Sindumin and Merapok.
