Pakatan Harapan Youth ready for State elections, backs PM

PH Youth members are committed in their stand to be united ahead of the State Elections.
Kota Kinabalu: Pakatan Harapan (PH) Sabah Youth is committed to enhancing cooperation and empowering the Sabah PH Youth movement in preparationfor the State Election, which is due at any time.
ADVERTISEMENT Sabah Dapsy Head Vivian Wong, Sabah PKR Youth Head Zaidi Jatil, Upko Youth Chief Felix Joseph Saang and Sabah Amanah Youth Chief Salleh Jatil all confirmed their commitment following a recent roundtable discussion here.
“Each youth movement of the component parties will convey messages or information regarding the efforts and policies of the Madani Government,” they said in a joint statement.
“At the same time, Sabah PH Youth also rejects false or slanderous news that is deliberately fabricated by certain irresponsible parties.”
They also expressed their strong opposition to extremist political viewpoints about the 3R issue.

Sabah PH Youth hopes the government will act decisively, quickly and efficiently on the matter, as it is expected to generate turmoil if not handled appropriately.
They also discussed concerns over the cost of living, which should be made a priority for the Madani government.

Sabah PH Youth also advocated for Sabah’s rights to be respected and implemented, particularly the issue of 40 per cent tax revenue.
The roundtable discussion also agreed that the Sabah and Sarawak Parliaments should be delimited as soon as feasible, and they want a one-third representation in the Dewan Rakyat.
They also pledged full support for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s leadership.
