14 houses razed in Nabawan village

Kota Kinabalu: Fire destroyed again 14 houses in Kampung Tikandis, Jalan Sepulut, Nabawan, today.

The Sook Fire and Rescue Station's Senior Operations Commander Faisal Ahmad and Operations Commander Shellverinus Julius said they received a call about the fire at 9.16am and rushed a nine-member team to the scene.

They brought the fire under control at 11.30am and ended the operation at 2.30p, they said in a statement, adding no human casualties were reported.
