PBS, Star to sign collaboration MoU soon

PENAMPANG: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) and Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on their collaboration soon.
PBS Deputy President Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam disclosed this in a statement after chairing the party’s Supreme Council Members’ (AMT) ordinary meeting at its headquarters in Donggongon, here, on Monday.
ADVERTISEMENT He said the “housekeeping” meeting also discussed the “progress” of the proposed PBS-Star collaboration, apart from matters concerning the party and exchange of opinions among the AMT.
“The main agenda is further discussion on the party’s preparations for the State Election (PRN) which can be held at any time,” said Dr Joachim, who is also Deputy Chief Minister II cum Local Government and Housing Minister.
“The meeting was also to provide further information on the ‘progress’ regarding the proposed collaboration with Star, where PBS will hold a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing with the party,” he added.
