Agrobank Chief Executive Officer Datuk Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin said this is part of their initiative to give back to the community in conjunction with the coming Syawal.
“We believe such programmes can help foster brotherhood among Muslims in line with our corporate social responsibility principles,” he said, adding that the asnaf group should not be left out of Ramadan and Aidilfitri celebrations.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup, officiated the ceremony.
The Pensiangan Member of Parliament said such initiatives are strongly encouraged in keeping with the government’s goal of fostering social inclusion.
