Static tank for water-deprived Keningau folks

Robert handed over the static tank.
KENINGAU: Assistant Minister of Works, Datuk Robert Tawik, handed over the Static Tank at the Drop Point, for use in delivering clean water to Kampung Tonobon Baru in Mukim Bunga Raya here.
The tank can load 1,200 gallons of clean water at one time to meet the needs of the residents due to the hot and dry weather.

Robert, who is also Bingkor Assemblyman, hopes it will facilitate the process of assisting the delivery of clean water supply for the residents.
The Chairman of the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kampung Tonobon Baru, Clarence Jackobus, thanked Robert for the assistance he has been working to meet the needs of the people,
Also present, Bingkor Community Development Leader Junior Fred, District Office representative Kamaruddin Latip and Boniventure Harry and Bingkor Community Development Officer Tinus Majip.
Meanwhile, a total of 30 residents of Kampung Binaong here received food baskets donated by Robert at the breaking of fast ceremony at the village’s Nur Islam Mosque.

The donation was handed over by Robert to the asnaf group in the hope that it can help alleviate their burdens during Ramadan.
The Chairman of the mosque, Haji Zaki Haji Zakaria, thanked Robert for the food baskets.

Also present were Administrative Officer of Jheains Keningau, Haji Kalana Lias, Assistant Head of MACC Keningau Branch, Swartz Nasution, WKAN Anggi Khatil, Village Chief, Marukip @ Marukit Itah, JKKK Chairman, Ambrose Salangkan, Head of Education and Religion Bureau Bingkor, Haji Yazid Mohd Hasnan Tawik @Charles and community leaders.
In another development, Robert received a courtesy call from the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) Keningau led by Branch Manager, Joshua Tomas at his office. During the visit, the two parties exchanged ideas regarding the role of EPF in helping employees make contributions.
