Traders want bazaar relocated

SOOK: Traders at the Ramadan bazaar in Pekan Sook want the relevant authorities to find a more strategic location.
“The current site is not strategic to make business viable,” said trader, Lily Gubal.

“The quiet location has led to poor business and financial losses for the traders.
“Many people are unaware of the bazaar’s location, which further contributes to the low visitor turnout.
“We (traders) paid for our spots at the bazaar and expect a suitable location that attracts more customers,” she said.
She said there also needs proper promotion to ensure that the public is aware of the bazaar’s location and operating hours.

“With only two weeks left of fasting, we hope the relevant authorities will act swiftly to resolve the issue and provide a better trading environment for us,” she said.
