TAWAU: Tawau Tanjung Rotary Club added over 150 fig trees here, recently, at the Tawau National Park.

Led by its Past President cum Tawau Regional Environmental Sustainability Project Chairperson Steven Chin Sie Vun, the Rotary District 3310’s key project witnessed over 100 volunteers, restoring three degraded areas.

It aimed to raise awareness on environmental conservation, sustainable land management practices, climate change mitigation, and especially protection of the unique ecosystem of Tawau Hills Park, for the sake of future generations.
