BEAUFORT: The District Fire and Rescue Station received a boost when a local clinic contributed various items as a token of appreciation for their efforts.
Subha Clinic Medical Officer Dr Jason Pillay said the contributions delighted the firefighters.

“They are not only our unsung heroes but also an inspiration for us,” he said during the handing-over event here, recently.
The items were ready-to-eat meal packs, a mobile sprayer, and packets of oral rehydration salt (ORS).
Jason also urged the public to continue appreciating the bravery and sacrifices of the firefighters.
“They are the community safety guardians, and Subha Clinic will continue to support them.”

The contribution was handed over by Jason and Dr Sharlinna John to District Fire and Rescue Station Chief Mohamad Hasbullah Nenggok.
Hasbullah thanked the clinic for its contribution.
