At The Borneo Rainforest Law Conference: Conventions, treaties signed in Malaysia made law
He said Malaysia agreed to follow the rules set out in the UNFCCC and that Malaysia’s National Policy on Climate Change 2009 was made after the country agreed to the Paris Agreement in 2015.
MANY of the conventions and treaties that Malaysia has signed have been made law in Malaysia.

Examples are the Exclusive Economic Zone Act 1984 and the Territorial Sea Act 2012 were passed to make the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea law.

As a result, changes were made to the Continental Shelf Act 1966.

“We passed the Diplomatic Privileges (Vienna Convention) Act 1999 so that the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations 1961 could be put into action.
