SANDAKAN: The Works Ministry is still studying the implementation of photoluminescent or glow-in-the-dark road markings.

In a written answer to a question by Sandakan MP Vivian Wong at the Parliament, the Ministry said the glow-in-the-dark road markings painted on a state road in Semenyih, Selangor, had yet to be applied on Federal roads in the peninsula.

Wong had asked whether the Ministry plans to introduce road markings to overcome the problems of frequently faulty street lights in Sandakan.
