Kota Kinabalu: A total of 31 notices have been issued to food handlers at Ramadan Bazaars statewide since the start of the fasting month on March 12, said State Health Director Datuk Dr Asits Sanna.

He said Tawau topped the number of violation notices issued with 18, followed by seven in Keningau, and the remaining cases were reported in various other districts.

“Of the violations, 12 pertained to food handlers not adhering to proper attire requirements, including the lack of aprons, shoes and headgear.
