Right clouds needed for seeding: Safar

Safar said the drought in Sabah brought on by El Nino is still under control although Papar declared an emergency on Wednesday.
Kota Kinabalu: Cloud seeding is not a “one size fits all” approach, said State Secretary Datuk Seri Sr. Safar Untong.
On the State’s request for cloud seeding to the Federal Government through the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma), he said it was still in process.
“Not all cloud types are doable. The Malaysian Meteorological Department is still determining the most suitable choice for Sabah.
