Cloud seeding soon in Sabah: Safar

Kota Kinabalu: Cloud seeding is not a one-size-fits-all approach for Sabah, said State Secretary Datuk Seri Safar Untong.

On the progress of the State’s request to the Federal Government through the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) on Monday for cloud seeding, he said it was still in process.

“Not all cloud types are doable. The Malaysian Meteorological Department is still determining the most suitable choice for Sabah.

“We were met with a positive response and the procedure will be carried out as soon as possible,” he said.
