LABUAN: The Labuan Corporation (LC) has been urged to speed-up its solution for the derelict Hotel Labuan as the sight was staining the image of the island.
Activist Lau Seng Kiat said last October LC was announced that the 11-storey was set for demolition.

“But till now there has been no further updates on the plan leading to many wondering whether it was another failed plan and. “I am wondering if the situation will be same if the abandoned building was in Kuala Lumpur or PutraJaya.”
He pointed that it was said that in the midst of an ungraded environment of Labuan Square and the Roundabout, the hotel stands out like sore thumb.
