Kota Kinabalu: Parties in the GRS-led State Government should refrain from making outright demands for more seats publicly for the 17th State election, said Gagasan Rakyat Supreme Council Member, Datuk John Ambrose, Monday.
“Seat distribution for PRN17 should be discussed only when the State Assembly is dissolved and that also internally among leaders of the various parties.

“With PRN17 only due in more than one-and-a-half years’ time, GRS components and Pakatan Harapan partners should instead concentrate on serving the people and strengthening their parties,” he said.
He said following some challenges after winning the State election, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji has managed to stabilise the political situation in Sabah and is now concentrating on solving issues effecting the people such as water, electricity and roads as well as those concerning the MA63 (Malaysia Agreement 1963).
