SANDAKAN: "Gum-Gum", the "adventurous" Sabah pygmy elephant that strayed into a suburban area of Mile 16 here, was returned to its natural habitat in Segaliud Lokan Forest Reserve on Saturday morning.
The seven-foot-tall mammal weighing more than 1 tonne was previously reported wondering around at several palm oil estates before finally being captured by the Sandakan Wildlife Department along with the Wildlife Rescue Unit.
