Kota Kinabalu: A 53-year-old politician was ordered to enter his defence on four charges  of molesting a 2021 State Unduk Ngadau contestant.

Magistrate Stephanie Sherron Abbie made the order for Phillip Among, who was also the technical head for teh 2021 Unduk Ngadau competition, after ruling that the prosecution had established a prima facie case against him on Tuesday.

Phillip was a Parliamentary Coordinator for Sabah Star's Putatan Division, but was suspended from his position after two police reports were lodged against him for sexual assault.

The court set next year in February for Phillip's defence.
