Kota Kinabalu: Audiences gave roaring reviews to the three shows of “A Woodwind Quintet Concert & Peter and the Wolf Theatre Production” on Dec 1-2
The first half consisted a Woodwind Quintet Concert performed by five distinguished woodwind players, namely, Kenneth Chia from the USA (flute), Midori Suzuki from Japan (bassoon), David Chin from Australia (clarinet), Chloe Chai from West Malaysia (french horn) and Howard Ng from Sabah (oboe).

The quintet delivered an exquisite performance of several songs including “Always With Me” from the Japanese movie “Spirited Away”, movements from the famous ballet “The Nutcracker” as well as a beautiful Christmas medley to bring everyone into the Christmas mood.
The second half was a theatre production of “Peter and the Wolf” accompanied by the same Woodwind Quintet, performed by adults and children from the age of 6 years old who mimed to a live narrated script.
