Seeking burial plot in Putatan
Chung holds up the land application letter with Yong.
Kota Kinabalu: The Association of Putatan Chinese Cemetery and Land Management is pursuing the issue of burial ground shortage with the State Government. 

Association Chairman Chung Ming Kon,g who is also the Putatan Kapitan, said its members submitted a land application to the Sabah Land and Survey Department in mid-September.

The association had previously sought advice from Sabah Nominated Assemblyman Datuk Yong Teck Lee, who provided strong support for the cause.

Chung thanked Yong for his guidance and assistance. “We have made significant progress in addressing the issues faced by the Chinese community in Putatan,” he said.
