Lumadan Assemblyman, Ruslan Muharram, said the existing military assets were ageing and not capable of meeting the required capabilities to face modern military threats.

He said the series of Chinese military incursions in the waters off Sabah and Sarawak in the South China Sea was a signal that Malaysia needed to increase the capability of its military assets to protect the country’s sovereignty.
