Kota Kinabalu: Sabah-hailed Borneo Organisation made history by launching the Borneo Forum Declaration of the Environment 2021 at the UNFCCC Climate Change Conference (COP26) at Glasgow, Scotland.
The Declaration on Nov 11 was signed by 34 prominent and influential organisations, businesses, universities and individuals. They represented the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Shareda), University of Technology Malaysia (UTM) – Low Carbon Asia Research Centre, University Malaysia Sabah, University Malaysia Sarawak and NGOs, including Tonibung, the Malaysia Green Building Council Sabah, Sepa and Borneo Forum Ltd.
