Kota Kinabalu: While established non-governmental organisations (NGOs) such as Rotary Clubs, Lions Clubs and Junior Chamber International (JCI) chapters have come to the fore to alleviate the plight of those impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic since last year, caring individuals have also endeavoured to help less privileged fellow Sabahans.Admittedly, well-known turtle conservationist Alex Yee is preoccupied with work on the ground and cannot participate in Covid-19 relief programmes.
“The least I can do is contribute to charities in cash or kind when the need arises,” he told Daily Express.
