TAWAU: The Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA) responded to the call to aid to 55 Asnaf and B40 families at Kg Wallace Bay in Pulau Sebatik (pic).

Sabah MRA Secretary, Alex Dennis, who delivered the assistance, said the aid was an ongoing effort from MRA to help people in need and affected by the Movement control Order (MCO).

He said the programme was conducted with cooperation of Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Tawau Zone.

“Sabah MRA appealed to all other agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) as well as the public to continue working together to help the needy,” he said.

SK Wallace Bay Headmaster, Herman Kuraga expressed appreciation to Sabah MRA.

He said the assistance is very much appreciated and that they hope such programme will continue to be carried out in future.
