No Raya arrest in Beaufort: Cops

BEAUFORT: No arrests have been made in violation of the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) during the Hari Raya celebrations, here.

District Police Chief DSP Azmir Abd Razak said police are constantly monitoring the people’s movements and making sure they comply with the CMCO.

“A total of eight enforcement agencies assisted the police, including the Army and the Rela,” he said.

Azmir said the police are grateful that everyone complied with the CMCO and hoped that they will continue to do so.
