Five more positive to Covid-19 in Brunei, total six

Kota Kinabalu: Five more people were found Covid-19 positive in Brunei, bringing the total number of cases in the sultanate to six, it was announced Tuesday.

The Brunei Minister of Health said five close contacts of the neighbouring nation's first Covid-19 patient tested positive to the disease, the Borneo Bulletin newspaper said on its Twitter account.

In light of this, the Brunei Ministry of Education announced Tuesday that the first term school break scheduled for March 16 will be moved earlier to March 11, said the Brunei paper.

The first case, a 53-year-old Brunei man, tested positive for the virus on Monday after returning to the sultanate on March 3 from Kuala Lumpur with three friends.
