SAC3 targets 2,000 visitors to its Open Day
Published on: Friday, August 10, 2018

Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Animation Creative Content Centre (SAC3), an incubator facility under the Sabah Development Corridor (SDC), aims at attracting 2,000 visitors to its Open Day.

SAC3 Deputy Director Marina Abdul Ghanie said the target set on the three-day event, which kicked off Thursday, was higher than the 1,500 visitors they received in 2016.

"Initially, we have planned to hold the programme for two days. However, we have agreed to extend to another day at the request of many," she said.

According to Marina, the event was aimed at giving exposure to the visitors and raising their awareness on the creative industry.

We hoped that the visitors would be more acquainted with the industry and aware of its potential in generating income particularly for the Sabahans, she said.

Marina also said SAC3 was providing the best platform for individuals to highlight their talents and later to be part of skilled manpower for the industry.

"This programme is well-received from all quarters including government agencies, schools and skills institutions in Sabah," she added.
