New City Library in Tg Aru

Kota Kinabalu: A NEW City Library is being built on a three-acre plot in Tanjung Aru township and will be ready once the present building in the city centre, which has been declared unsafe, is demolished.Community Development and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Jainab Ahmad said the services in the present building had stopped in November 2012 following the advice of the Sabah Public Works Department (PWD).She said the present site has been returned to the State Government which agreed to turn it over to City Hall.
