Kuala Lumpur: The latest demand from the United Tausug Citizens (UTC) group for US$15 billion (RM70 billion) and recognition over Sabah is akin to an “extortion scheme”, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said.

Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said the Spanish Court’s verdict on rogue arbitrator Gonzalo Stampa proved that the claims made by individuals claiming to be the heirs of the Sultan of Sulu were totally baseless.

PETALING JAYA:  Arbitrator Gonzalo Stampa, who controversially ordered Malaysia to pay US$14.92 billion (RM69.88 billion) to the self-claimed heirs of the defunct Sulu sultanate, has been found guilty of contempt of court by a Spanish court.
