SEOUL: Oscar-winning Parasite filmmaker Bong Joon-ho and other South Korean stars called for an investigation today into police and media conduct in the days leading to actor Lee Sun-kyun’s death.

SEOUL: As late South Korean actor Lee Sun-kyun’s family and friends gather to mourn his death, public criticism of police and media conduct during his investigation for suspected drug use is growing.

SEOUL: Lee Sun-kyun, a popular South Korean actor best known for his role in the Oscar-winning movie “Parasite,” was found dead in a car in Seoul on Wednesday, authorities said, after weeks of an intense police investigation into his alleged drug use.
