PETALING JAYA: The Madrid Court of Appeal, in Spain, has upheld the December 2023 ruling by the Madrid criminal court that found arbitrator Gonzalo Stampa guilty of contempt of court, over the Sulu sultanate controversy with Sabah.

Kuala Lumpur: The digital ministry is looking into claims that the “security infrastructure” of the national population and family development board (LPPKN) has been hacked and data stolen by a group known as ROOTK1T, minister Gobind Singh Deo said.

CM Datuk Seri Hajiji said the Spanish Court’s verdict on rogue arbitrator Gonzalo Stampa proved that the claims made by group  claiming to be so-called heirs of the Sulu sultanate were baseless.

PETALING JAYA:  Arbitrator Gonzalo Stampa, who controversially ordered Malaysia to pay US$14.92 billion (RM69.88 billion) to the self-claimed heirs of the defunct Sulu sultanate, has been found guilty of contempt of court by a Spanish court.

Kuala Lumpur: The defence counsel of Spanish arbitrator Gonzalo Stampa did not deny the fact that he was ordered several times by the court to end his arbitration proceedings brought by the self-claimed heirs of the sultan of Sulu, law and institutional reform minister Azalina Othman Said said.

Kuala Lumpur: Spanish arbitrator Gonzalo Stampa, who controversially ordered Malaysia to pay US$14.92 billion (RM69.88 billion) to the self-claimed heirs of the defunct Sulu sultanate, will face charges in the Madrid court on Dec 11.
