BEAUFORT: Bintang Kecil RTM 2022 champion Qahirah Maisarah Syahlil, from the Bisaya tribe, will join 14 other artists representing the country at the World Championship of Performing Arts competition in the United States.
Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Ruslan Muharam, who is also President of Persatuan Bisaya Bersatu Sabah (PBBS), recently received a courtesy visit from the 12-year-old artist at his residence in Kampung Suasa.

He said the Bisaya community is proud of Qahirah for being chosen to represent the country with several other artists from Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia at the World Championship of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, California.
“Qahirah, who is also a Sugandoi Dazanak Champion, will wear traditional Bisaya attire at the World Championship of Performing Arts in California,” he said.
