‘Clear that Sabah Umno is split’ claim
“Bung (right), reflect on why many Sabah Umno leaders and members are now leaving the party,” Zulkarnain (left) said.
Kota Kinabalu: Umno Sabah Chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar is trying to turn the party into his own private limited company said Malaysian People’s Power Movement (G57) Chairman Datuk Zulkarnain Mahdar.

He was commenting on Bung’s warning to the Umno Tuaran Division after inviting Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor to attend its recent meeting.

“Inviting Hajiji was a right decision. Bung’s remarks just shows that he is actually afraid of his own shadow.

“This is actually a sign that Sabah Umno has split into two groups, one pro-Shafie Apdal and another, pro-Hajiji, despite Umno President Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi’s denial.

“Having been an Umno grassroots for a long time, I am of the opinion that Bung is a real liabilitya and it, who shows Umno Sabah is weakening day by day.

“His attitude misled Umno Supreme Council members in making the decision to cooperate with Parti Warisan against Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).

“The coup which they lost along with many other blunders shows that the Sabah chapter is now being led by the wrong person.

“Bung’s stubbornness to cooperate with Parti Warisan Sabah despite being often reminded against by the Umno President shows his arrogance.

“Bung, reflect on why many Sabah Umno leaders and members are now leaving the party,” Zulkarnain said.

He suggested that Zahid find a replacement leader for Sabah immediately.

“Bung’s rough leadership pattern also caused members to become more disillusioned.”
