An observation found that a landslide in the Bayaon tributary area flooded the road with mud.
Soil erosion, followed by fallen trees near Kampung Bungaliu and Kampung Logub, also cut off the alternative route to Tamparuli or Kiulu townships.
It is understood that the route towards Kota Kinabalu near Kampung Tampulan was also flooded.
Electricity supply in several villages here was also disrupted, along with telecommunication signal interruptions.
