MEMBAKUT: Pertubuhan Rumpun Etnik Sabah (Presbah) urged the Government to replace the existing suspension bridge in Kg Pusak Sinoko with a bailey bridge.
President Yahya Ahmad said the deteriorating condition of the current bridge forced residents to use bamboo rafts to cross the river.

“Residents urgently require a bailey bridge that is stronger and elevated above the water level. A sturdy concrete bridge can be constructed across the highway, similar in distance to crossing the river.
"The adoption of concrete bridge innovations is crucial for mainland areas, particularly for crossing rivers that are relatively narrow,” Yahya told Daily Express.
