Sandakan school reaps first sweet corn harvest

After three months of patient cultivation, the Yu Yuan Secondary School community can finally reap their corn harvest under the supervision of Rotary Club of Sandakan North.
SANDAKAN: Yu Yuan Secondary School celebrates a bountiful harvest of sweet corn at their agricultural workshop.
With the assistance of the Rotary Club of Sandakan North, the school plans to develop two acres of undeveloped land behind the school for farming in mid-March.
After three months of diligent work, they recently marked their first harvest of the sweet corn that they planted.
In the presence of the school board members, supporting partners from the Rotary Club of Sandakan North, teachers and students.
